Supervision offers an opportunity for us to be curious about our own practice, to contract with a supportive practitioner to explore the thoughts, feelings and ethics of our work in a confidential and theoretically congruent space. We do this in order to do our best for our clients, and to grow and develop as counsellors.

I have completed a Certificate in Clinical Supervision at the Northern Guild for Psychotherapy and Counselling in Newcastle, and I am currently working towards their Diploma in Clinical Supervision. I have also trained with Robin Shohet, exploring the Supervision Relationship.

I was originally trained in the psychodynamic/person-centred Dialogue at the University of Edinburgh, and have also completed the Foundation year of the TA Diploma, and an MSc in Counselling & Psychotherapy with Persona/Stirling University (person centred, with a focus on Mindfulness and Depression).  I now work in an integrative way with an emphasis on core existential ways of being.

As a supervisor, I believe it is the quality of presence and ‘being with’ that forms the foundation on which we stand, in order to facilitate safe, ethical practice for the benefit of clients.

Supervision is £50 per 60 minute hour.
